Dear Parents, Our annual Food Drive has begun! We donate non-perishable food to a local food pantry to help feed those in need. We make this a friendly competition between the elementary classes (Kindergarten - 8th grade). The class who brings in the most items will receive an ice cream party, but we all win when we give to the needy! The Food Drive continues until Friday, December 9th. We truly appreciate your support and participation!

Ice Cream Day is Thursday!

Pre-school will be having their ice-cream sale on Thursday, November 3rd this week instead of Friday. They will also have it next Thursday, November 10th since school is closed on Friday the 11th in observance of Veteran's Day.

Our first BBQ of the school year is this Friday!

Toddler - 11:15a.m.

Pre-K - 11:30a.m.

Kindergarten/1st Grade - 11:45a.m.

Lower Elementary - 12:15p.m.

Upper Elementary/Middle - 12:15p.m.

 

Where: World of Knowledge: A Montessori

Cost: $3.50 (includes your choice of Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Hot Dog or Veggie Burger, Chips, Cookie and Lemonade)

This Friday is also SILLY SOCK Day!!

This Friday, September 2nd, is Silly Sock Day at World of Knowledge Montessori.  Students of all ages are welcome to wear the silliest socks they have to school.  You can mix and match socks, wear odd looking socks or even take a pair of white socks and decorate them (paint them, glue pom poms, glitter, etc.).  Have fun with it! 

Breakfast Program has Started

World of Knowledge will again have breakfast available every day for purchase in the Multi-Purpose Room from 8:00a.m. - 8:45a.m.  There will be a variety of breakfast foods available to choose from at reasonable prices (as low as 50 cents).  Milk and orange juice are available for purchase at that time and we also sell coffee to our staff and parents beginning at 8:15a.m.

Operation Shoebox

Dear World of Knowledge Families,

The Community Service Council of West Pasco is currently accepting donations for their annual Operation Shoebox drive.

World of Knowledge would like to assist them in this drive. 

For those of you unfamiliar with this program, “Operation Shoebox” is a drive in which the items collected are placed in shoeboxes (by volunteers) and are then mailed to our Troops overseas.  In addition to providing much needed toiletries and “goodies”, it is a nice way to let our Troops know they are being thought of and are appreciated.

A box will be in the office for donations.  Items can be donated now through September 7^th.

Anything that will melt or perish is not suggested.

Food Suggestions include:

Valentine's Day BBQ at WOK!!

Please join us for our "Bring Someone You Love to Lunch" BBQ!  All family members and friends are welcome to come! 

We will be serving hamburgers, hot dogs and veggie burgers.  Here are the details:
